Refund policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

Plain terms on when we refund, how pro-rata refunds work, and what our revision and resubmission support covers.

Before work begins

If you cancel before we have begun drafting, you receive a full refund, no questions asked.

After work begins

Once drafting has started, refunds are calculated pro rata against the work completed and delivered to you at the point of cancellation. For a three-episode CDR, that generally means:

Stage reachedRefund
Consultation only, no drafting100%
Technical interview held, no draft delivered85%
One episode delivered60%
Two episodes delivered35%
Full draft deliveredNo refund; revisions continue

Revisions

Revisions are unlimited and included in the price of every complete report. We do not charge per round. Dissatisfaction with a draft is a reason to request a revision, not a basis for a refund, until the revision process has run its course.

If your assessment outcome is negative

If a report we wrote receives a negative or deferred outcome on competency or content grounds, we revise the report and support one resubmission at no charge. This applies where the report was submitted substantially as delivered.

It does not apply where the outcome results from matters outside the report — for example an ineligible qualification, insufficient or unverifiable employment evidence, an English test result below the required level, a wrong occupation nominated against our written advice, or information later found to be inaccurate.

Assessing authority fees

Fees paid to Engineers Australia, the ACS or Engineering New Zealand are paid by you directly to them and are outside our control. We cannot refund them, which is why we recommend a pre-submission review.

How to request a refund

Email info@cdrengineersaustralia.com with your project reference. We respond within five business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method within ten business days.
