How do I find my ANZSCO code?

Match your actual duties — not your job title — against the ANZSCO occupation descriptions. Start from your degree discipline, then read the two or three closest occupation entries and pick the one whose listed tasks you genuinely performed.

Can I nominate more than one ANZSCO code?

You can apply for an assessment of an additional occupation for a further fee. Each assessment is separate, and your career episodes may need to change because they must evidence the duties of the code you nominate.

What happens if I choose the wrong ANZSCO code?

The assessor reads your career episodes against the nominated occupation's description. If they describe a different occupation, the outcome is likely to be negative or deferred, and the assessment fee is not refunded.
